Trexure Takes 2nd Place at the APAC Stellar Hackathon Grand Finale

Trexure placed 2nd in the DeFi & Ecosystem Composability track at the APAC Stellar Hackathon Grand Finale on July 31, 2026 — a USD 6,000 finish against the best teams from the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Two of ours in the national ten

The Philippines sent ten finalists to the regional stage, chosen at the Demo Day at the GCash office on July 18. Two came out of this studio: Trexure and Paiflow — alongside Sobre, Celerity, PACTA, Pijin, Orizon Agents, Velo, Pundar, and PalengkePay.

That is two of ten national slots from one studio, out of the ten projects we entered at Demo Day.

The DeFi & Ecosystem Composability track

The regional field was split by track, and the DeFi & Ecosystem Composability bracket is where the judging criterion the organizers had pushed all hackathon — real utility, not just prototypes, and composability with existing Stellar tooling — bit hardest. Final standings:

Why Trexure

Trexure is a unified treasury API for ZK-shielded Stellar payments. Shielded payments solve a real problem — a business should not have to publish its payment graph to the world to settle on-chain — but they create a new one: if the amount is encrypted, your accountant cannot see it either, and neither can your auditor.

Trexure closes that loop. It lets the payment’s own party decrypt it, auto-reconciles the on-chain leg against the fiat leg, and exports an accounting-ready receipt. Privacy on the wire, provable records on the books.

That is a composability story rather than a standalone app, which is exactly what the track was asking for: Trexure is infrastructure that other Stellar products settle through.

Paiflow reaching the Grand Finale continues a run that started in May, when it took 1st runner-up at the Build on Stellar Philippines Hackathon and earned its place in the APAC round.
